The latest release
CDman finished manufacturing the new Canciones project, shipped it and we received it on Jan 9, 2007. It is now available for auditioning and purchase at CDbaby (or directly from Crow Caw Music Works via PayPal).
Miscellaneous Notes
(This is the [not really so] "secret" page for the buyers of "Canciones de mi hermano electronico" where I can put up new tracks and information that didn't make it on the release itself...)
I wanted to include the track on the right ("Treble Kivu") on this release but I never heard back from Warp Records or Ninja Tune after three attempts to contact them by email in the Fall of 2006.
A note on the Streaming options: I've never really set that up. Your browser may play the tune when you click on one of the little triangle icons, or maybe it will download it which I hope is not too inconvenient.

The song linked to by the play bar above started as a contest entry for Future Music magazine. A number of loops and samples were provided which were created by Luke Vibert (also known as Wagon Christ amongs other pseudonyms). I added some other loops and my own guitar parts and came up with this tune which I think is good although it did not win the contest.
As I mentioned before, I wanted to include this song on Canciones, but I checked back in FM issue 154 and they were quite explicit that Vibert's loops are only supposed to be used for the contest. Technically, the song above infringes but I don't think anyone's going to get too bothered about it. If I get a note from Ninja Tune to remove it I will do so immediately (at least I'll hear from them; I wrote them three times politely asking for clearance to use the loops and didn't even get an acknowledgement.)
