favorite things
This page will list and point to some of my favorite books, music (chocolates, spices, etc...) of the present and of ancient times... Not too much yet but see the 70s/80s and current links....
Speaking of coffee--normally I hate flavored coffees. The worst was a "Christmas blend" from some roaster which was about half cinnamon. YUCK. I like that spice in all kinds of other stuff but not in coffee. We had to clean our grinder and run several pots through the coffee maker before that flavor disappeared.
But on the good side: we found a coffee roasted in New Mexico flavored with nuts from the pinon bush (tree? plant?) For some odd reason this is just delicious. Brewing it straight out of the bag it has a fat, mild, but bold flavor reminiscent of chocolate. You can get it in states that have the Trader Joe's chain or in New Mexico.
Speaking of Trader Joes: years ago they sold a 500 gram milk chocolate bar with crisped rice. I loved that thing but they discontinued it and I've never seen it again.

This doesn't seem to have much to do with music. But everyone needs to have more dimensions to their life than one.
