Music of the 90s and 00s
I can't seem to get anything written about these decades. The records that stand out in my mind are Smashing Pumpkins Melon Collie..., Tool Undertow and Aenima and White Zombie La Sexorcisto.... I may have mentioned elsewhere that none of my music probably sounds anything like any of those bands, but for some reason they are still amongst my favorites. Also the Slayer albums around Reign in Blood but I think those are from the 1980s.
Radio Massacre International
Maybe it;s not really fair to put these guys in this category, as I just bought their 6 CD box set which has tons of unreleased music since the 1980s. It's excellent stuff, sort of Hawkwind meets Tangerine Dream. But they're really all over the map--just like my stuff. Highly recommended. I'd write more but my ice cream is melting at the moment...
