Song of the Month
Fol de Rol 2008 is a remix of the version on the Canciones... CD. I think I got carried away with some of the mastering capabilities of software and backed a lot of fancy stuff off.

Previous Songs-of-the-Month
Metropolis got its name from the samples that start it out; they put me in mind of a city full of giant machines...it's on "Canciones...". This is the complete edit (you can only hear the first 2:00 of songs on CDBaby.)

World Turning 2006 (Song of the month in March 2006) This was a reworking of a piece I originally wrote in the 1990s called "World Turning." I resurrected the old MIDI files, imported them into Cakewalk Sonar and rearranged the piece pretty extensively.
Most of the sounds come from a Roland SC-880. I decided on using that box (first time I turned in on in a year!) since the piece was originally written for an SC-88, and the Cakewalk GM softsynth (TTS-1) didn't really cut the mustard.
Ruptured Duck has that title for no logical reason that I can figure out, but actually has some history in it if you check out this article. (Yes, I know it's fashionable to slam on Wikipedia as being the "million monkeys" equivalent to a "real" encyclopedia, but if you don't like it, either don't use it or make your own!)
(Hmm, it looks this this has changed already...)

"(Too Much Normal) Send in the Freaks" started out with some off-beat loops in multiples of three. As I gripe elsewhere, either Ableton Live does not handle non-4/4 time very well or I just haven't figured out how to do it. So essentially the track is in 4 even if some of the loops are not essentially 4.
