The first project from the fevered brain of tim p scott was a suite of compositions based on the late Roger Zelazny's novel Jack of Shadows. Zelazny was a master at creating evocative imaginative worlds that seemed as real as the walls scott hit his head against while creating these tunes.
This 1995 release uses timbres and structures from classical, rock and jazz to help create a mirror of the mood evoked by the novel.
I found a lot of notes from the days I was working on this which I have on another page for those who might be interested in how I did this first release.

You can (and should) buy it at CDBaby!
I dug up ancient files from 1995 and 1996 to see if it would be possible for me to recreate a song from this record at this late date. Back them I was using either the MasterTracks Pro or Opcode Vision MIDI sequencer on an old Macintosh...all of which are long gone.
For more details about this, see the special page I put together for it.
